BANDS & PERFORMERS:

Armonite
(UK/Italy) / June 28, 2015

New release:

Armonite's new album, "The Sun Is New Each Day" is out. From the producer of Muse, Paul Reeve, comes Armonite, a rock band with an electric violin instead of a voice. The band was initially active in the late ‘90s, and released their debut album "Inuit" in 1999. The original band folded however, but 15 years later a new edition of Armonite assembled featuring composer Paolo Fosso on keyboards, Jacopo Bigi on electric violin, Colin Edwin (of Porcupine Tree) on bass and Jasper Barendregt on drums. “The Sun is New Each Day”, mastered by Geoff Pesche at the Abbey Road Studios, is being distributed for free on the band’s website. According to Armonite, getting the tracks out to the world is very important, that’s why the musicians chose to give the album away for free instead of selling CDs.
