The Israeli Progressive-Alt Rock band Solstice Coil has finished their debut album. Titled "A Prescription for Paper Cuts", it contains 9 tracks and is 50 minutes in duration. According to the band, their music is a blend of modern (Radiohead, Porcupine Tree, The Flower Kings) and classic (Genesis, King Crimson, Yes) Art-Rock with elements of Prog-Metal (Dream Theater, Pain of Salvation). The Underground Railroad will be part of Progday 2005 and will be the second act on Day 1 of the festival, Saturday, September 4. A few weeks ago, the band released their brand new album, "The Origin of Consciousness", which is now available for purchase from their website.
