If you get in quick you may still be able to grab a couple of the 7” EP which is also available featuring four songs from the boxed set. Here we get Chad and Jeremy reprising “Rest In Peace”, from their 60’s album, 'Of Cabbages and Kings', Schizo Fun Addict on the Mamas and Papas classic, “Dedicated To The One I Love”, Hanford Flyover with their version of Neon Pearl's “Just Another Day” and one of the absolute standouts for me from the 4 CD set, namely Us and Them with their sublime take on Neil Young’s “What Did You Do To My Life?”. While the one to get is obviously the complete set, this is a great introduction to what is rapidly becoming one of my very favourite albums around. No-one does this style of music better, and if you enjoyed the Sixties then you need to hear how bands today are interpreting both hidden gems and classic numbers. Indispensable.
