According to a press release, the 16-track album will be released on April 15 and features Santana's classic line-up of keyboardist and vocalist Gregg Rolie, guitarist Neal Schon, percussionist Michael Carabello and drummer Michael Shrieve.

Black Sabbath
(UK) / January 24, 2016

Latest News:

Black Sabbath will issue four unreleased songs from the sessions for their 2013 album, "13", as part of a new limited-edition CD, titled “The End”, available only during shows on their farewell tour. The band are packaging ‘Season Of The Dead’, ‘Cry All Night’, ‘Take Me Home’ and ‘Isolated Man’ on "The End" CD alongside four live tracks from the "13" world tour. With original artwork by Shepard Fairey of the Obey Giant street art campaign, the extras from the "13" sessions feature Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler with drummer Brad Wilk, while the live material presents the three original Sabbath members rounded out by touring drummer Tommy Clufetos and keyboardist Adam Wakeman. Last November, Tony Iommi revealed the group was planning to issue the unused tracks but wasn't quite sure what form the package might take at that point. "For the last LP we did record 16 songs (and only used 12)", said the guitarist, "so we may still put something out from that." The exclusive CD contains music that has never before been released.

Rabin-Anderson-Wakeman
(UK) / January 24, 2016

Latest News:

The much mooted project, featuring Jon Anderson, Trevor Rabin and Rick Wakeman, seems to be back on track. The Rabin-Anderson-Wakeman project had been in the pipeline since 2011, with Rabin initially telling Prog that the three former Yes members were seriously planning on doing an album together. At that stage, they had written a handful of songs and were passing demos of ideas around, but this was as far as it was then taken. In 2012, Anderson admitted the project had been shelved, although there was a commitment to revisiting it at a later date. Subsequently, there doesn't appear to have been much progress, with Rabin admitting on more than one occasion the lack of movement was caused by the fact that all three were so heavily involved in other projects. Several days ago Rabin said: “We still really want to do this. But, right now, I am contracted to working on the score for a new film, and both Jon and Rick have their own stuff to deal with. But we talk all the time, and the three of us definitely want to make it happen”.
